Privacy Policy

When you create an account and use the Service, we collect:

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (handled securely by our authentication provider — we never see or store your raw password).
• Profile information you choose to add: company name, bio, services offered, and a public username if you set one up.
• Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed directly by Stripe. We store your subscription status and plan tier, but never your card number.
• Usage data: the scans you run, the businesses and projects you save, and how many of your plan's scan credits you've used.

The core of the Service is finding and evaluating local businesses on your behalf. To do that, when you run a scan we collect and generate information about the businesses that come back — not about you. This includes:

• Public business details from Google Places: name, address, phone number, category, and rating.
• Technical details about the business's own website, gathered by checking its publicly accessible pages (e.g. whether it has a booking widget, is mobile-friendly, loads quickly, has analytics installed).
• Public social media statistics for the business's Instagram and Facebook accounts (follower counts, engagement, posting activity), where an account can be found.

This is all publicly available business information, not private data about individual consumers. We use it to generate the opportunity score, evidence, and pitch content shown to you inside the Service, and — only if you choose to publish it — on a public project page you create and share with that business.

• To operate the Service: run scans, score opportunities, and generate build briefs, outreach messages, and pitch content on your behalf.
• To generate that content, relevant business details and evidence are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic processes this data to generate a response and does not use it to train models.
• To process payments and manage your subscription, through Stripe.
• To communicate with you about your account, scans, or changes to the Service.
• To improve and maintain the Service, including diagnosing errors and preventing abuse.

We rely on the following third parties to run the Service. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments.
• Anthropic — generates pitch, brief, and outreach content from scan evidence.
• Google (Places & PageSpeed APIs) — provides business listing and website performance data.
• ScrapeCreators — provides public Instagram/Facebook statistics for businesses.

We do not sell your information, or the business information we gather, to anyone.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep your account and scan data for as long as your account is active, so your build history stays available to you. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the email below and we'll take care of it.

Business information gathered during a scan stays private to your account unless you explicitly publish a project — at that point, the page you've chosen to make public is visible to anyone with the link, including the business itself. We don't share your account information with other users or third parties beyond the service providers listed above.

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access-controlled databases. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

The Service is intended for freelancers and business professionals and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, anyone under 18.

You can review and update most of your account information directly in Settings. For anything else — access, correction, or deletion of your data — contact us and we'll respond promptly.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
